ceramics

This semester I am taking a ceramics class! I have two pieces that have been fired once and area waiting to be glazed. I must say I have been trying to move out of my box of "symmetry and clean lines" that I have put myself in- so watch out!

I did this stil-life in my drawing class as well. I finally found some patience even though I did, I admit, rush through it for the sake of turning it in on time. It now hangs in my kitchen with a stainless steel frame. Woot!

construction

I did this in my beginning-drawing class last semester. I hated the assignment at first, but it turned out to be my favorite project all semester. I had to work on my worst virtue- patience. I was forced to be very meticulous the whole thing...and my dad was critiqued it several times. He mostly told me to just slow down and follow through.

This is just a painting I did for fun one night. I was bored and had an idea in my head- so I put it on a canvas.
